P-EBT Updates

New York State has recently finished the initial distribution of P-EBT benefits for this past
school year. There are still many families have not yet received their benefit for
various reasons, such as a change in address.
IMPORTANT: If you have not received your child's P-EBT food benefit for March-June 2020:
1. Complete the State P-EBT Contact Form

School attended in spring 2020

Date of birth

Address(es) (Include former and current address if you think the mailing may have gone to an old address)

PLEASE NOTE: The State P-EBT helpline is not currently staffed and you will get an automated recording.
The NYS benefit for the 2020-2021 school year has NOT been approved yet. We do not know when distribution will begin.

Once the NYS plan is approved, we will host info sessions to share the details.

Keep all P-EBT cards from spring 2020. Your child's 2020-2021 benefit might go there.
For those receiving P-EBT on their Medicaid Common Benefit Identification Card (CBIC) (Wave 2):
For those getting a new card just for P-EBT (Wave 3):
Please note: When activating your P-EBT Wave 3
card, DO NOT use your child's social security
number when prompted. Instead, enter your child's
actual date of birth.
