Mitzi Harris

Mitzi Harris is a product developer with experience in fashion, food, and haircare. She traces her love of food back to kindergarten, when she and her friends spent recess trading and admiring one another’s lunchbox snacks and eating them together on the playground. Today, she still loves sharing food with others and is excited by the opportunity to help New Yorkers of all ages gain the same access to food, and create community centered around food.

CFA’s mission resonated with Ms. Harris and she was blown away by the care, kindness, and dedication with which the CFA team runs their initiatives.

Ms. Harris is currently on the menu strategy team at sweetgreen, where she works on menu innovation and product development projects. She previously led product development at Crown Affair, a haircare company based in New York, and co-led the fundraising team at the Farmlink Project, a nonprofit founded during COVID that rescues surplus food from farms and delivers it to food banks across the United States.

Ms. Harris graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Art History and currently lives in Los Angeles. When she's not working, she loves reading, walking, spending time with friends, dancing, and fondly remembering her time living in New York.
